NYU’s Center for Advanced Social Science Research (CASSR) is home to social science researchers with interests that include population, inequality, distribution, and opportunity. CASSR supports individual and collaborative basic-research projects that advance understanding of the causes and consequences of those topics. CASSR staff are eager to assist faculty prepare and submit their proposals for outside funding and manage grants when they are funded. The colloquium series provides an opportunity for affiliates to hear one another and guests present research-in-progress.
